Prospective Students
Admissions
The Emory Dance Program offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance and Movement Studies. A minor in Dance and Movement Studies is also available. This degree is normally completed in four years and requires completion of the dance major/minor requirements in addition to the General Education Requirements of the Emory College of Arts and Sciences.
Admission to Emory
The Dance Program does not handle admissions to Emory University; this is coordinated through the Emory University Office of Undergraduate Admission. Please see the website for the Office of Undergraduate Admission for application and financial aid information.
Audition
The Emory Dance Program does not require an audition to major or minor in dance. Once enrolled at Emory, students planning to major or minor in dance should schedule a meeting to discuss their plans with one of the Program’s full-time faculty.
Portfolios
Please note that the Dance Program does not require or review DVD/video portfolios, whether submitted to us or to the Office of Admission.
Scholarships
At this time, Emory does not offer scholarships particularly for dance students. However, there is a range of merit and need-based aid options available; please see the Office of Financial Aid website.
