Holly Godwin is an actress and teacher who received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theater at the University of Victoria. She received her Alexander teaching certification at The Alexander Foundation in Philadelphia and has continued her learning with numerous post-graduate courses, most notably with Master Teachers Marjorie Barstow and Elizabeth Walker. Godwin has studied Clowning with Sue Morrison at The Theatre Resource Centre in Toronto and Neutral Mask, Le Jou and Bouffon with Philippe Gaulier. She can often be seen in Theatre in the Square productions (Spring ‘08 as Emily Dickinson in The Belle of Amherst; Spring ‘09 in A Man for All Seasons) as well as other local venues and is a Teaching Artist with Young Audiences, Atlanta. In her spare time, she hones her skills as a practitioner of Non-Violent Communication. Godwin teaches courses in the Alexander Technique for the Emory Dance Program.
