Anne WalkerProgram Coordinator

Biography

Anne Walker holds a BA in studio art and art history from St. Olaf College. She has an interest in all the arts, including dance. As program coordinator, Anne manages marketing and publicity; event planning; newsletters; the program website, blog, and social media; academic affairs for undergraduate dance students; student recruitment and prospective student visits; fundraising for the Friends of Dance; and the program budget. In 2018 Anne received the Emory College Employee of the Year Award.

Anne has worked at Emory since 1998, as Assistant Director of Development for the Rollins School of Public Health and Program Coordinator for the Center for the Study of Public Scholarship, before joining the Dance Program in 2005. When she is not at Emory, Anne designs and creates handcrafted sterling silver, copper, and enamel jewelry for her business, Anne Walker Studio.
